Corporate social responsibility. She has recently completed a project funded by the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, examining why UK corporations are motivated to report voluntarily on social and environmental issues. This qualitative research also examined stakeholder management, particularly the role of the ethical investment community in influencing corporate behaviour, social and environmental reporting procedures and the quality assessment of social reports. Her current work includes a book on stakeholder management, jointly authored with Professor Andrew Friedman of the University of Bristol.
