Academic year 2011/2012

The purpose of this programme is to introduce new staff to the research policies and procedures of the University and to the resources and support available to them; to provide information and advice on securing external funding and managing research projects and people; and to provide networking opportunities.

The elements are contained in half day sessions, and provide an opportunity for those new to the university to meet with other researchers.

Attendance at the three seminars shown below are compulsory for research staff and will be recorded by the Research and Business Development Office based on a 'sign in' sheet taken at each session.
