It may be that you have an early browser version like Netscape 4, which doesn't fully support the style rules used on these pages. You can continue to view everything but it won't look as the designer would prefer.
It would be good if you could upgrade to a more recent version of the browser that you love, but there again, maybe circumstances prevent you from doing so.
