Oxford Brookes University has designed and
delivered the highly regarded National Training Programme for Gifted
and Talented Co-ordinators in Excellence in Cities schools since
the programme’s inception. Our specialist team have developed
an approach to gifted education specifically suited to the British
educational system and integrated with other raising achievement
strategies.
We are pleased to offer to all LAs professional
development opportunities in the education of able pupils.
Accredited courses include:
- Teaching and Learning for Able/Gifted Pupils
- Able/Gifted Pupils – School Based Enquiry
- Provision for Able and Gifted in the Primary School –
for Gifted and Talented Co-ordinators (of particular interest
to schools involved in Primary gifted and talented expansion programme.)
- E-Pedagogy for Gifted and Talented Pupils
