Culture and Identity
This area is led by Dr Bev Clack. It comprises researchers from the areas of theology, religion, media and communication, and education, who employ a range of perspectives and methods to investigate notions of culture and the development of identity.
Particular research interests of the group’s participants include: media criticism, documentary filmmaking, philosophy of religion, comparative religion, contemporary and historical theology, psychoanalytic theory and therapeutic practice, critical theory, and the uses of education in the development of identity.
The Culture
