Partnership, Leadership, Professional and Adult Education
This area is led by Professor Marlene Morrison. It explores the links between current policy, theory and practice in new forms of leadership, inter-agency partnership and professional training that aim to promote inclusion and equality in different educational contexts. Of specific interest is the relationship between diversity, leadership, and identity. Intersections between theories of Education Leadership and Management are explored in relation to schools, FE, and HE.
We also explore new forms of leadership and management as they relate to various forms of partnership and networking and recent curriculum initiatives in schools, colleges, and HE. Among these, the 14-19 education reform programme across England is significant, and a cross-university team that includes Oxford Brookes is doing major work in this area.
