Student Conference for Undergraduate Research in
Anthropology & Geography 2009

The Re-invention Centre, 2nd Floor, Abercrombie Building,
Oxford Brookes University
on Thursday
30th April 2009 at 12noon - 2pm.
This was the second annual conference for Undergraduate research held by the Department of Anthropology and Geography. Students from the department were invited to take part by displaying their undergraduate research by means of a poster to illustrate key concepts of their research in a visual format, with an emphasis on Independent Studies and Dissertations.
The quality of the presentations was superb, both visually and also in terms of information content, reflecting the research ethos which underpins the teaching in the department, and showcased the investigative and analytical skills which the students have developed over the course of their studies.
