Introduction
This guide is intended to help you understand the way the Undergraduate Modular Programme works so you can get as much out of it as soon as possible and deal with any problems that occur. You should find information on the people to contact or the things to do when a particular situation arises.
The Undergraduate Modular Programme spans the Four Faculties in the University. Each Subject and most modules are sponsored by one of the Faculties whose Dean is ultimately responsible for the academic quality of both subjects and modules. Each academic member of staff is a member of one of these Faculties and reports to the Dean. The Academic Management Office is responsible for ensuring that modules and subjects are delivered in a way which is consistent with the requirements of the Programme and the University. The Office is also responsible for updating timetables and records and is a useful first step for enquiries about them. It is to this Office that module registration forms, mitigating circumstances, and other modular forms are submitted.
