Newsflash: Electrical shutdown at Gipsy Lane campus (week ending Vac 15) - no Brookes PC network available
There will be no power at all in these buildings for the duration. The buildings will be closed and locked down at 2030hrs on Friday 31st August 2012 and reopened at 0700hrs on Monday 3rd September. The Abercrombie building will be accessible to those who have authorised access through swipe card on the West End entrance. We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this closedown may cause however it is essential that this critical work is carried out at this time. It would be helpful if staff in these areas could remember to disconnect their PC's and other appliances from sockets beforehand as this will help to avoid problems when the power is restored. If you need to use a Brookes PC to do some work over the weekend they will available to use at Wheatley - G104, G105 and G105a and Harcourt Hill - FLG01a, FLG01b and FLG02. created Tuesday 21st August 2012, 11;29 |
