Information for staff on supporting disabled students

The Student Disability Service can advise staff on supporting disabled students.

Oxford Brookes encourages all staff to take an inclusive approach to teaching, recognising that any group of students is likely to include disabled students. The EODCs developed inclusive teaching guides.

The Supporting Students Handbook includes a chapter on supporting disabled students, including advice on what to do if a student discloses a disability to you.
