Chairs do move – so move them

• Look at the focus of the room – where will you be standing etc
• Who moves the chairs – get everyone to help

Who needs to SEE you? Think about

• Where you will stand
• Sightlines
• Windows and light
• Backlighting

Who needs to HEAR you? Think about

• Where you will stand
• External noise
• Volume
• Distance

Do the students need to see and hear each other? Think about

• Clusters
• Shared responsibility

Do the students need to move about? Think about

• Wheel chair users
• People with limited mobility
• Blocking and clustering

Have you got it right? Think about

• Checking
• Watching
• Reminding yourself
