The Talent Bank online vacancy advertising service - based in the Careers and Employment Centre is here to help with your on-campus casual [hourly paid] recruitment.  

Finding hourly paid support staff

Talent Bank can advertise any part time or temporary roles to our students both postgraduate and undergraduate.  You can post a vacancy yourself or email the information to careers@brookes.ac.uk to make the most of this great resource and advertise your opportunities to our student population – for free!

A recent user of the service said "the help from Talent Bank was great, fast and efficient.  I found two excellent students with the right skills for the role".  

It's effectively a form of job shop for all Brookes students but more than this: our students can upload their CVs and register an interest for types of vacancies in the same way as you might do with a jobs site.

Increasingly our students need to earn income whilst they study and the Talent Bank will log local employer vacancies and check students who have expressed preferences, to bring vacancies to the attention of our students.

This facility however can enable all managers across the University, in need of casual and hourly paid staff to see if any of our students might be potentially suitable. This can save time searching for potential casual staff and give a much better response rate than a posting on an electronic notice board or a programme-wide student email

Talent Bank does not vet the suitability of our students for specific vacancies or guarantee certain skills but it is a medium by which Brookes students can help secure work and where recruiting managers can tap into a large pool of potential casual staff by contacting them swiftly and effectively.
