First aid at work

First Aid courses are, wherever possible, now run centrally from Oxford Brookes. This is a recognised health and safety qualification for first aiders at work. It has three days of practical sessions and an examination on the final day. It covers you for a three year period to be a qualified first aider at work. After that time you should attend a refresher course (two days) which can also be arranged.

A two day first aid refresher course. First Aid courses are, wherever possible, now run centrally from Oxford Brookes. If these refresher dates do not fit in with the expiry of your First Aid certification then please contact Roy Grant. Please note that refreshers can be taken up to a month early and up to 28 days after the expiry date. |

| First Aid Annual Update Courses | This half day workshop is for Oxford Brookes First Aiders. It is expected that First Aiders will attend an annual update to keep their knowledge up to date. It is not available as an open session to anyone without the full three day course. |

Risk assessment training |
