Information, education and best practice brovision

  • APM Body of Knowledge provides access to the 52 areas of knowledge that underpin the profession
    • A hard copy of the 5th edition is held in the OCSLD resource centre
    • The 4th edition is available to download from the APM website (PDF, 315KB)
  • Corporate forums: these prestige members-only events, held twice a year and free to attend, allow corporate members to influence developments in the profession, learn about best practice and network with like-minded organisations from other sectors.
  • Branch events: opportunities to attend local events to hear high-profile speakers, network with other like-minded individuals, solve problems and identify best practice from others' sectors. Thames Valley Branch has over 2,500 members with a Chapter in Oxford.
  • Specific interest groups: these groups provide opportunities to enhance your specific knowledge and skills by accessing, and contributing to, leading-edge thinking in the art and science of project and programme management

  • Discounts on APM Qualifications: discounts on fees for APM’s internationally recognised examinations structure.
  • Waivers on individual membership registration fees: higher education institution staff and students need not pay the registration fee when joining as individual members.

Recognition

The Association is a member of the International Project Management Association (IPMA) which gives added recognition to APM membership and the APM qualifications.
