Karen Clegg

Dr Karen Clegg is Director of the Graduate Training Unit at the University of York. She heads a team providing development and training for postgraduate research students and research staff. Karen is a member of the Board for Graduate Studies and Forum for Learning and Teaching and is a registered practitioner of the Higher Education Academy. Before this, Karen worked as an Academic Developer for the UK Centre for Legal Education (LTSN Law) at the University of Warwick. Her research areas are assessment, reflection, plagiarism, quality assurance and learning and teaching in higher education. Karen has a number of publications in these areas and is currently co-editing 'Innovation in Assessment'
