Vicky Lewis

Vicky Lewis is Emeritus Professor at the Open University where she was Professor of Education until December 2008. She is a developmental psychologist whose research has focused on the impact of disability on development. She has had the experience of being supervised, obtaining a DPhil from Oxford University in 1976. She has successfully supervised MSc, MPhil and PhD students funded by ESRC, various charities, HE Institutions, foreign Governments and the Northern Ireland Office. She regularly examines research theses in other UK Universities. With Sue Habeshaw she wrote 53 Interesting Ways to Supervise Student Projects, Dissertations and Theses and is currently writing an on-line course on supervision for Epigeum which has been adopted by universities around the world.
