Developing and coaching others

This participative workshop aims to provide delegates with the skills, knowledge and confidence to enhance the performance of others. Emphasis will be placed on creating an environment where learning is valued and the delegate in a coaching capacity encourages colleagues to take responsibility for their own learning.
By the end of the workshop delegates will be able to:
- Identify development needs within their team
- Identify appropriate development interventions taking into account individuals preferred learning styles.
- Adopt a facilitative and supportive approach to workplace development.
- Plan and prepare a development coaching activity/discussion.
- Describe the key skills required in being an effective coach and produce their own personal development plan to enhance their own skill set.
