Brookes Learning and Teaching Conference 2010: Building networks, partnerships and communities

Held on Friday, 25 June 2010 at Harcourt Hill Campus

What creative ways are we engaging learners in our teaching, or engaging with our learners in developing both teaching and learning? How are we responding to the demands of new markets and where are we integrating technologies to their best advantage? Whilst the experience of students on our courses sits at the heart of discussions about learning and teaching, how can we also harness the benefits of engagement in research, community ventures and knowledge transfer in our teaching practices?

The learning and teaching conference took place on 25 June 2010 sharing innovations and provoking alternative thinking about our teaching in order to improve the learning experiences of all who work, study or collaborate with the University. The conference brought together colleagues from within, and beyond, Brookes to learn from each other through open exchange.
