Leadership and management
OCSLD offers a suite of programmes and workshops to support leadership and management development. Whether you are a newcomer to the role or an experienced manager seeking further development, there are several different ways in which you might use our services.
In-house courses include:
- Core Management and Leadership Programme (with an option to achieve a nationally recognised qualification)
- Heads Orientation and Development Programme - a bespoke programme of workshops, coaching and network meetings for Heads of Department, Heads of Finance and Heads of Administration, supported with a private networking website.
- Introduction to Leadership and Management for New Managers
- Leadership Dimensions for Grade 12 and above
- Performance Management – various workshops
- Team Leader (Supervisor) NVQ level 2
Professional development, leading to chartered status, is available via our links with the Chartered Management Institute. For those seeking development combined with opportunities to engage with people from other HE institutions, our affiliation to the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education may be of interest.
