By the end of the workshop, you should have an understanding of:

• what mentoring is and the benefits it offers
• the Brookes Mentoring Scheme and the expectations of those involved
• the skills and behaviours that an effective mentor should display
• how to use the essential tools of a mentor
• what your personal objectives of taking part in the scheme are

This course is aimed at anyone who wants to become a mentor with the mentoring scheme.

• the Brookes mentoring scheme and the expectations of those involved
• what your mentoring objectives are

The half day workshop is designed to help you get the most out of the mentoring experience by developing the ground rules about what works and what doesn’t.

This course is aimed at any staff member who wants to join the mentoring scheme as a mentee.

OCSLD courses are free of charge. If you are unable to attend a course we require 5 working days' notice of non-attendance, otherwise a cancellation charge of £50 will be made for each day of a course (or part thereof).
