Turn over a new leaf
We are always looking for ideas from you for ways to improve our campuses and make a real difference to the student experience.
Cash is available for further campus brightening projects and we are keen to hear your suggestions.
We are asking all staff and students to submit their ideas. It could be a place for studying or socialising - or just about anything else! If your scheme enhances the student experience or our reputation then we would love to hear from you.
Projects from the July 2009 proposals which were approved include:
- Headington Library entrance
- Front entrance of the Ferndale campus at Swindon
- Outside space around the Centre for Sport, Headington
- Shower facilities at Marston Road.
Improvements carried out in the past have included the Gibbs foyer and Main Hall at Gipsy Lane, the Wheatley bus shelter, a new computer room in Health and Social Care and new TV screens on all campuses.
The previous round of nominations for campus brightening projects closed on 11 December 2009. Announcements will be made to staff and students when the next round opens.
