Works update

Gipsy Lane works from 10 February 2012

Notice valid from: 00:00, Friday 10 February 2012 to 00:00, Sunday 19 February 2012

ABERCROMBIE ACCESS:

  • Structural work in the Computer Shop area will take place this weekend
  • Due to this work there will be no through access in Abercrombie on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 February

What’s happening on site

  • The feature ‘pop out’ face of the Library building is close to completion, which will bring an end to major structure works in this area for the time being
  • The concrete superstructure of the pooled teaching area will soon reach the first floor
  • Glass balustrades and oak façade panels are being installed within the Abercrombie extension atrium space
Come and visit the Space to Think team in the Lab in Abercrombie to see a sample of the oak façade and go hands on with materials from the building
The Lab opens on Tuesday 14 February, and we’ll be on hand to answer your questions over a cup of tea or coffee from 12pm-2pm each day next week
You can find the Lab along the ground floor corridor of Abercrombie
