Counselling Service opening hours
Reception
During semester time, reception is open:
- Monday – Thursday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
Friday 9.00 am – 4.30 pm
During vacations, reception closes between 1 and 2 pm.
Reception covers Headington, Marston Road and Harcourt Hill sites
If you want to contact the Service outside of these hours, you can can leave a message on the answering machine.
Counselling
Counselling appointments are usually during the same hours as reception.
Days when appointments are available:
Headington Hill: Monday – Friday
Harcourt Hill: Monday and Tuesday
Marston Road: Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
If you cannot attend in our usual hours, we may be able to make alternative arrangements. Sometimes appointments can be made at later times, particularly at Harcourt Hill.
Appointments are made on any of the sites, not necessarily the site where you are usually based.

University Vacation
The Counselling Service is open at our normal hours outside of semesters, though we offer fewer appointments.
Reception is generally closed for lunch between 1 and 2 pm.
The Service is closed on Bank Holidays and official University holidays. It is closed between Christmas and the New Year.
