I'm a new international student that would like to join the Global Buddies Programme

What can I expect from the programme?

We would like to welcome you to Oxford and help you to settle into life as a student at Oxford Brookes.The first few months at University can be an exciting but nervous time and it can take time to adjust to a new environment. Your mentors will help you:

  • Settle into university life
  • To understand about the services that are provided at Oxford Brookes.
  • Make new British friends.
  • Introduce you to UK life and help you settle into Oxford.

 

How do I join the Global buddy scheme?

If you are Interested in joining the scheme as a new student then please fill in the application form and send it to isas@brookes.ac.uk.

Please read the new student handbook to find out more information. If you have any queries about the scheme then contact ISAS for more information.

 

Facebook

There is a Global Buddies facebook page, where you can keep in contact with your buddy and other new students. It is a good place to either check in or to arrange socials or 1-2-1 chats with new students.
