Prospective employers are asking applicants to not only have qualifications but to use extra curricular activities as evidence of adaptable skills that can be used for a career. This means that they would be interested in your participation as a mentor and it will be a valuable asset to include on your CV. Below are some of the other rewards that can be gained as a mentor:

How do I become a Global Buddy?
If you are Interested in joining the scheme as a buddy then please fill in the application form and send to isas@brookes.ac.uk.

There is an Global Buddies facebook page, where you can keep in contact with your new students and other buddies. It is a good place to either check in or to arrange socials or 1-2-1 chats with new students.
