Police Registration

If the sticker in your passport or your UK identity card says you need to register with the police, go to Oxford Police Station in St Aldates (tel: 01865 855837), before you have been in the UK for 7 days.

Take with you:

  • your passport
  • £34 to pay for the registration
  • a passport-sized photograph
  • An 'Attendance certificate'. You can ask for a copy from the Academic Management Office email: amo@brookes.ac.uk or through your PIP.

The Police Station is open 24 hours a day, but there will be more staff to help you between 10.00 - 18.00.

You must also update your registration certificate every time:

  • your visa is extended
  • you change your address.

If you have any difficulties updating your certificate please contact ISAS
