School and college visits
Our schools and colleges liaison team can visit your institution to talk to your students about higher education.
We also arrange for groups of students to visit our University to see our facilities. The programme of the day can be tailored to suit your requirements and often includes a campus tour led by a current undergraduate student and one of the following talks.
Presentations
Our presentations last between 30 and 60 minutes and cover a range of topics, such as:
- applying to university
- choosing a course and a university
- financing higher education
- subject specific talks
- student life - talks can be given by our current undergraduate students
- study skills
- writing personal statements
Our talks are impartial and are designed to help students make the most of their options, although we are happy to talk specifically about Oxford Brookes if you wish. They are particularly useful for year 12 or first year of college students considering going on to higher education. We are also happy to give talks to parents and guardians.
Higher Education and careers events
Each year we attend a number of careers and higher education events at schools and colleges throughout the UK. Our team can talk to students and their families about higher education and more specifically about the courses that we offer at Oxford Brookes.
UCAS fairs
We are attending 18 UCAS conventions this year. Please see our calendar of events to find a UCAS fair near you.
Academic liaison
We may be able to arrange subject specific talks for your students, subject to lecturer availablity, please get in touch.
