January entry
Why start in January?
A January start can be particularly useful for students who need more time to complete their studies, obtain an English language test score, organise funding or arrange a visa.
Please note: Due to funding issues some of the courses may not be available to those who are considered to be home/EU students for fee purposes. If you are a home/EU student please check which courses are available by contacting the Admissions Office at admissions@brookes.ac.uk or +44 (0) 1865 483040 before you apply.
How do I apply?
Undergraduate courses
Download an undergraduate application form (PDF) or email query@brookes.ac.uk to request one.
Include references, a statement of purpose and, if applicable, proof of your English language proficiency.

The closing date for international students applications to reach Oxford Brookes University is 16 December 2011. The deadline for UK/EU applications is the 9th December 2011
Postgraduate courses
Please see the course entry of your chosen course to find out how to apply. For some courses you will need to apply online through UKPASS by following the link on the course entry. You should apply as early as possible as some courses fill up quickly.

Enrolment is on 23 - 25 January and teaching begins on 26 January.

Which qualifications do I need before I apply?
For specific requirements, please refer to the details of the course you are interested in.
If your first language is not English, you will be required to meet the University’s English Language requirements. We typically look for IELTS 6-7 or equivalent depending on the course you are applying for. What about accommodation?
