Application process for taught postgraduate courses
The application process for most taught master's degrees, postgraduate diplomas and certificates and professional courses is the same, even if you are applying to study full-time, part-time or for distance learning. Please check the individual course information for specific application details.
Apply online by clicking on the link to our UKPASS application form, which can be found on each course entry on the website. Applications received electronically through UKPASS will be forwarded directly to the school.
Direct entry to the university
For some courses, application is direct to the university. For those courses, there is a link on the course entry on the website which enables you to download the application form in PDF format. Applications completed in this way should be sent back to the university admissions office using the address supplied on the form.
Deadlines
While most postgraduate courses will continue to recruit throughout the year, some courses have application deadlines, so please check the details of the course you are interested in. Applications should be submitted as early as possible before the desired date of entry, even if you have not yet been awarded your first degree or other entry qualification.
Also note that some courses may fill earlier, resulting in the course being closed to applications. Please contact the academic school for further information.
