Undergraduate

While most undergraduate courses require application through UCAS, some applicants should apply directly to the University if they are applying for:

Application process

Applicants applying directly for undergraduate courses should use the University application form (PDF, 175 kB).

Important: this form may only be used for undergraduate January entry, part-time study, and some foundation courses. All other applicants must apply through UCAS and incorrect applications will be returned.

Fill out the form, including references, statement of purpose and, if applicable, proof of English language proficiency.

Once we have received your application, we will forward it onto the relevant Admissions Tutor in each Academic School. For some courses you may be invited to attend an interview. The Admissions Tutor will then assess the application and return the form with a decision to the Admissions Office. The decision will be processed and an offer letter will be sent to you, with a reply slip for you to complete and return.

Part-time Study

Entry in January 2012 or September 2012

You should use the University application form (PDF, 175KB).  You can request this to be sent to you by emailing the Enquiry Centre or telephoning them on +44 (0) 1865 484848. 

Once you have completed and returned your application form to the Admissions Office, the Admissions Tutor will assess your application.  You will be notified of the result of your application by letter.

Associate study

You should apply using the M2 Associate Student Application Form. You can request this to be sent to you by emailing the Enquiry Centre or telephoning them on +44 (0) 1865 484848.

Once you have completed and returned your M2, Associate application form to the Admissions Office we will forward it to the Admissions Tutor for assessment. You will be notified of the result of your application by letter.
