Postgraduate taught fees for UK/EU students

UK/EU tuition fees

Tuition fees for each course are listed online along with the specific course information, so please check the relevant course for confirmation of its fees or contact Student Finance.

Paying your fees

For UK, EU postgraduate students

During the vacation period before you start your course, you will be sent an email containing instructions on how to complete your online enrolment and provide your tuition fee payment details online. Tuition fees should be paid in pounds sterling.

Remember UK/EU applicants for full time degree courses don't have to pay their tuition fees upfront, they can choose to repay their fees after they graduate by taking a fee loan.

Paying in instalments

You can pay your tuition fees in full at the start of the academic year or in two equal instalments at the start of each semester - in September and January.

UK, EU Postgraduate Instalments for 2012 - 2013

  • Semester 1 is due on 10 September 2012
  • Semester 2 is due on 24 January 2013

Sponsors

If you have a sponsor, such as a commercial or charitable organisation who is paying your fees, you will need to provide an official letter of sponsorship from them. This letter should include: the invoice address, name of student and amount of sponsorship. We will then invoice them for the full fee amount, giving them 30 days to pay. Please note that if your sponsor fails to pay your fees, you will be liable.

Parents, family members or friends who may be paying your tuition fees are not classed as sponsors.

Refunds for UK, EU Postgraduate Students 2012-2013

If you formally withdraw within four weeks of the start of  the semester we will normally refund tuition fees.

The refund policy does not apply to students of Oxford Brookes International or students who go on a residential course within the first four weeks of a semester.

Methods of payment

We offer the following payment methods for tuition fees and accommodation fees. All payments are in pounds sterling.

Credit/debit cards

We accept all major credit and UK debit cards except for American Express. We can take payments over the phone or you can pay online.

Because of the increase in worldwide credit card fraud, please advise your card issuer of the dates and amounts you will be paying for your tuition fees by card. This will ensure your transaction is authorised without problems or delay.

Online

For enrolled students, payment of tuition fees can be made online through your Personal Information Portal using a credit or debit card. You can pay any amount between £10 and the full balance. Just click on the 'Make Payment' button on your Course Fee Statement.

Payment directly into Oxford Brookes bank account

Payment can be made directly into the Oxford Brookes bank account.

  • For students paying tuition or accommodation fees, please ensure the name, student number and details of payment e.g. halls or tuition fees are clearly marked.
