If you plan to study for an undergraduate degree course at Oxford Brookes, you will have the opportunity to study abroad. You can choose from other universities and partner institutions in Europe, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand,and the USA.
...an opportunity to travel
This enjoyable and rewarding experience will give you an opportunity to travel, develop foreign language skills and make new friends while gaining credit for all the relevant modules you pass.
You will gain experience of a different educational and cultural environment and improve your employability within an international market. You will receive some funding (Europe only) and in some cases be exempt from tuition fees (full academic year on exchange to Europe).
Who can go?
All students can apply to go on exchange with another university after receiving approval from Field Chairs. UK and EU students can apply to study in Europe.
We recommended going on exchange during year 2 of your degree so that you can still graduate with your friends, but with a much more impressive CV.
