Oxford Brookes University library services give you on-site access to key learning and research resources.
Designed to provide a safe and secure study environment for individual and group work, our three libraries have specialist subject librarians on hand to provide you with any information support you need.
At Brookes, you'll have access to:
- half a million books, videos, CDs and DVDs available to borrow
- over 2,000 printed journals
- over 100 online databases and 8,000 electronic books and journals available in the library, in halls and via the internet
- special collections (including the National Brewing Library and the Booker Prize Archive) offering primary sources for research
- reference books, company reports, statistics, standards, maps, music scores, past exam papers
Facilities
- three libraries (on our Headington, Wheatley and Harcourt Hill sites) providing a friendly place to study near teaching centres, halls and regular transport links
- 170 student computers and Internet access for personal laptops
- 1,200 study spaces offering silent, quiet and group work options in a secure environment
- buildings open and staffed over 75 hours a week during semester time

- printed guides, web pages and our Electronic Enquiry Service providing more help and support
- subject librarians - covering all subject disciplines - offering one-to-one support, enquiry help and specialist training from induction to dissertation
- postgraduate students may be recommended for admission to the University of Oxford's Bodleian Library, one of the world's leading research libraries.
