If you want a quiet mid-week drink with friends or a weekend party night, it has got it all. There are over a 120 pubs and bars in the city as well as 15 nightclubs.
And if you crave London's nightlife, it's only an hour away by train, or the cheap 24-hour coach service.

Oxford offers a great range of theatre and cinema while the museums often offer evening cultural events and talks.
Cowley Road
On the University's doorstep is the Cowley Road - a dynamic, multi-cultural area full of life and evening activities.
A favourite with students, it’s bursting with diverse places to eat and drink and live music venues.
Eeach year it hosts Oxford’s largest and most diverse community event – the Cowley Road Carnival.
