Train the trainer programme

  • Who is it for?

This programme has been designed for people who are required to deliver training sessions for their department. It starts from the premise that delegates are new to this subject area.

This programme requires a manager nomination as it represents a considerable investment of time and places are limited.  Delegates will need to determine what training they are planning to deliver back in the workplace.

    The format of the programme

Notice (23 Feb 2018): This programme is undergoing a major revision. A new comprehensive and ILM endorsed Train the Trainer programme is under construction and is planned to be launched at some point in the Academic year 2018/19.

The new programme will take a blended learning approach with a combination of online and workshop based activities spanning a 10 week period. This will be followed by participants designing and delivering a live work-based learning intervention for Assessment and accreditation.

    • It was both really practical and also hugely valuable for helping me reflect on my own beliefs about how to convey information in a group.
