Student Identities and Inclusion Projects

Welcome

This website contains resources for seminars and other activities that can be used to support the student experience. They have been developed from research that is grounded in the psychology of education and social psychology to support student learning in higher education.

The resources are divided into two main categories: Student Identities Project and Student Inclusion Project.

The Student Identities Project provides materials to enable students to assess, discuss, and reflect upon their educational identities as learners and consumers. A comprehensive toolkit of these materials has been published in collaboration with Advance HE

The Student Inclusion Project provides suggestions for supporting inclusion among students who experience racism or other types of discrimination, and provides ways that educators could develop confidence to address these issues in their teaching.
