Become a Student Ambassador

We want to hear from motivated students who are enthusiastic about their university experience and are great at communicating that passion. Your core work will include supporting the University’s seven undergraduate Open and Applicant days and 3 postgraduate evenings. You will also be able to deliver campus tours and take part in workshops and talks for schools and colleges.

You don't need any specific experience, just an awareness of what Oxford Brookes can offer and a willingness to share your experiences. We pay our ambassadors £13.47 per hour and will provide you with all the training you will need.

Support the UK Recruitment and Widening Participation team on a wide-range of jobs to help students of all ages gain access to university.

Duties may include:

• delivering campus tours
• attending recruitment events, including Open Days and Applicant Days
• take part in workshops and talks for schools and colleges
• admin positions across the university
• Instagram takeovers
• Unibuddy and Student Room
• Study Higher events
• Support your faculty with Induction week.
  

You can also choose to become an ‘Enhanced Ambassador’ meaning that we provide you with a DBS check. This means you will be able to work on schools and colleges programmes like mentoring and summer schools.
