Welcome to our new academic staff!

Working with you from day one

Our Career Consultants are available to work with you from day one, to support student employability and career transition. This can include:

  • supporting ‘in Faculty’ curriculum activity by inputting into module sessions on employability related matters
  • designing and delivering bespoke career sessions for particular cohorts of your students
  • recommending career resources to support career transition and development
  • attending subject, or other departmental, meetings to discuss employability and careers related matters.

We are happy to offer you a personal briefing on our comprehensive careers and employability resources and the tailored support we offer. To arrange this:

Key information

  • ‘What’s On’ programme: highlights career events and workshops organised for students as part of Careers centrally run provision.
  • Online Resources portal: as an academic member of staff you have full access to this comprehensive careers information resource. To access the portal, login using your Student Information staff details via the Careers website homepage.
  • Employability timeline: gives a quick overview of the sort of resources and activities that both ‘under’ and ‘post’ graduate students should think about engaging with, to enhance their employability, alongside their studies at Brookes.
  • Students – access to Careers advice. Students and recent graduates are encouraged to contact us so we can determine the most appropriate support for them. Please see our opening times.
  • What can students expect from a discussion with a Careers Consultant?

Our service is also available for undergraduates and postgraduates for up to 3 years after course completion.
