Cyber Security Lab

We have dedicated security laboratories which provide students with ample opportunities to put theory into practice. These labs have the capabilities to:

  • audit an existing network
  • monitor IT systems for security issues
  • analyse malware and design
  • implement secure software.

Robotics Laboratory

The Robotics lab is home to wide range of robots including: 

  • Artie, the most famous of our robots, a life-sized, fully interactive humanoid robot.
  • Baxter a humanoid robot for teaching and research. 
  • The smallest of our robots, the cheeky Nao family.

Consisting of sensors, motors and software, these robots get their wizardry from their programming and animation.
