  • Brookes aims to ensure that students who are living within residential areas do so harmoniously and with little issue. We work proactively with the community, meeting regularly with local residents' associations and encourage students to get to know their neighbours and appreciate how their lifestyles may differ.

    However, we do understand that, at times, social differences can cause problems between students and permanent local residents. We take concerns very seriously and have a formal complaints' procedure to deal with any issues. There are two full-time members of staff in the community liaison team, and the University is committed to resolving any potential conflict quickly.
