Open campus - facilities open to the public

  • If you live locally, there are many amenities on the Brookes' campuses that you can use, including shops, eateries, printing services, libraries and even an NHS dentist.

Brookes is one of only four universities to hold Green Flag status, an award that recognises the best green spaces in the UK.

We welcome visitors to a wide range of public events, from free lectures and art exhibitions to conferences and workshops.

    Sport

Value-for-money community memberships for facilities in Headington and Botley (Harcourt Hill), including Oxfordshire’s only indoor climbing wall, gyms, fitness classes, squash and tennis courts, a swimming pool, and golf.

    Health

    • The Clinical Exercise and Rehabilitation (CLEAR) Unit in Headington is a non-profit-making fitness studio for people recovering from illness or who have mobility issues, staffed by qualified sports scientists, volunteers and Sports Exercise students.
    • Brookes’ osteopathic clinics in Oxford and Swindon offer a full range of treatments for all ages, including sports injuries and follow-up care. Students assess and treat clients under the close supervision of highly-qualified and experienced osteopathic tutors.
    • Studental, based on our Headington Hill site, is an NHS dental practice, open to everyone.

    Fine Dining and cookery lessons

As well as being a valuable training resource for our hospitality management students, Brookes Restaurant is a high-quality restaurant, open to all. Our chef trainers also offer a range of cookery classes for children and adults.

    Brookes Bus

The Brookes Bus services, operated by Oxford Bus Company, connect the main university sites and halls of residence to the city centre, and are available for anyone to use.

    Libraries

We offer a range of library services for external users and visitors - find out more here.

    Print and Reprographic Services

Comprehensive copy, print and finishing services, available to non-Brookes customers as well as staff and students.

    Space to Think
