FG04, Harcourt Hill Campus

This is a week long exhibition (in FG04 on Harcourt Hill campus, between the 22nd – 27th November 2021) which actively positions itself against the passive spectatorship of Art. That is, it will invite, all visitors to the curated exhibition to be engaged participants. There will be four dedicated areas: i) an interactive display of an historical innovation of significance, i.e. the Fresnel lens, ii) a scientific explanation of this seminal historical artefact and iii) a display of the artists own (historical and present day) sociocultural experiences and practices, as depicted through various mediums of artwork. There will, finally, also be the opportunity for the visitors to create their own artworks using the Fresnel lens.
