About the Programme

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner apprenticeship programme facilitates the development and progression of experienced healthcare professionals working at the leading edge of their specialty, developing knowledge and skills in leadership, critical decision making, clinical expertise and research which can be used to influence service provision.

The apprenticeship is aligned with Health Education England's Multi-Professional Framework, and enables experienced clinicians to grow their expertise across the key four pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research. On completion successful graduates will gain a master's degree (MSc) in Advanced Clinical Practice.
