Brookes Restaurant, Headington Campus
On this course you will learn what knifes are best suited to a particular job, how to handle and maintain them and use them with confidence. You will be taught how to sharpen and cut accurately.
The course will focus on vegetable, fruit and fish preparation. By the end of the course you will be chopping, slicing, dicing, chiffonading etc. like a professional chef.
This course is very hands on and you will make a tasty soup with salsa to take home and your own light lunch which will be served in the restaurant with a glass of wine or soft drink.
