Oxfordshire is a hotbed of thinking and action on how to shape healthier places to live. Prof Georgia Butina Watson will introduce key initiatives including Healthy New Towns and Liveable Streets. Merlene Austin will zoom in to examine lessons from Barton and Scott Urban takes a close look at retrofitting streets to become more liveable - and the implications of the Covid Emergency Active Travel funding. Finally Rosie Rowe will explain how learning from Barton, Bicester and beyond can help to spread healthy place shaping across Oxfordshire.
