In this talk, as part of the yearly Feel Good Festival, we will be looking at the diet and foods you should eat to help you feel and stay healthy throughout your life. We will also be looking behind some of the headlines and debunking some of the health myths that are commonly thrown around in the media.


Miriam Clegg is Senior Lecturer in Nutrition in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Oxford Brookes University. Her research focuses on the relationship between gastric emptying, satiety, food intake, energy expenditure and markers of these and she has published widely in this area . Her current interests include foods and nutrients that can be used to both increase and decrease satiety and appetite and the implications this has on food intake and energy balance.
