The COVID-19 pandemic has created a generation of individuals with significant pulmonary damage, yet hospitals are so overwhelmed treating new cases that there is little support to rehabilitate these patients. Pandemic notwithstanding, our healthcare infrastructure is already unable to cope with the millions of people in need of pulmonary rehabilitation after being admitted to hospital each year with lung conditions. As we all adjust to the 'new normal' way of living our daily life we are all finding alternative ways of doing things. Digital technology is something that people have become increasingly reliant on. This session explains the advantages and current development of a novel mobile application to meet the unmet need of people recovering from COVID-19 and how it could change outpatient care for good.
