Subject: Free security cycle marking Oxford Brookes, Headington, Oxford.
Oxford Brookes University Security Services are conducting FREE bike marking between Tuesday 20th February and Friday 23rd February 2018 outside the Lloyd Building, Headington Campus. DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES NO MORE BIKE MARKING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE HEADINGTON CAMPUS THIS WEEK. THESE SESSIONS WILL BE RESCHEDULED IN THE NEAR FUTURE. ALL SESSIONS ON THE OTHER CAMPUSES WILL TAKE PLACE AS ADVERTISED.
To individually purchase this permanent marking kit would normally cost £19.99.
The system, provided by BikeRegister, is a nationwide cycle security service, which is also used by partner organisations including Thames Valley Police, British Transport Police and University of Oxford.
Registration and security marking takes less than 5 minutes.
There will be two sessions each day 08.00am to 10.00am and 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
The afternoon sessions, will be supported by Thames Valley Police, North East Neighbourhood Team, so there is an opportunity to meet and discuss any matter with them.
Often bikes are stolen due to the poor quality of the lock used, so there will be the opportunity to purchase a D lock at a subsidised cost.
Free bike marking is available to all Students and Staff on production of Oxford Brookes identification.
This is a great opportunity to obtain free bike marking, making cycles less attractive for thieves to steal and considerably increasing the opportunity to locate and restore cycles back to the owner.

Monday 26th February - Wheatley Campus
Tuesday 27h February - Harcourt Hill Campus
