Details

A screening of a 30 minute documentary film on Belgian lawyer Eliane Vogel Polsky, followed by a panel discussion with Agnès Hubert, Sylvia Walby and Roberta Guerrina, chaired by Anne Laure Humbert

Looking back at the past 60 years, Europe has been an instrumental force in working towards equal pay, equal treatment, gender equality and the fight for parity democracy. Where do we stand in 2019? And what ways can we find to progress together in a Europe challenged by Brexit?

Starting with the screening of Agnès Hubert's documentary film on Eliane Vogel Polsky, a brilliant Belgian lawyer and great European who shaped the cause of women in Europe since the first women's worker strikes of the sixties, this event will look at the future of gender equality in a disunited Europe.
