Peter will give an overview of his career and the role of art in influencing public opinion on global issues of peace, justice, human rights and environmentalism.
With a career spanning over 50 years, Peter’s work has been at the cutting edge of political art since his involvement in the anti-Vietnam War movement. His photomontages, installations and paintings are known globally, gaining exposure on the streets, in newspaper and magazines, and in recent years through exhibitions and books.
Peter is one of Britain’s most important political artists. Born and based in London, Peter is a photomontage artist and Professor of Political Art at the Royal College of Art.
